Layouts of Scrapbooking Past

So I thought that I would post some scrapbook pages that I have done over the last few months......
Some good some not so good. All of them are a learning curve. They have help me develop the style I like.

The Girls at work are always dressing up. This day they dressed as the French Chefs 'Andre' and 'Rieu' and we when around all the residents to introduce them.....

This is the page I did of a trip to New Caledonia, when I was 21. This was one of the first I did using flowers.

But wait the last page was a Prima Colour Challenge....... I love the bright colours in this layout.

Scrapbook Fantasies - January Page Competition Kit

Hi all........

This is the page I created with the $5 kit from Scrapbook Fantasies. The challenge is that you can only use what's in the kit. You are allowed to add a title but that's it...........

This photo is of my friend and I singing our hearts out at work during family BBQ night. Got to love work clothes.........

Weekly Challenge - Transparency

You have all seen them........ Those beautiful clear see through pages at your local scrap shop. You have all said "WOW What can I do with that" or " I love that" and thought how do I use that. This weeks page challenge at Scrapbook Fantasies gets us to use them.

I choose one that had film strip on it from the Kaiser range 'Timeless'. I backed it with a scripted paper from the same range. A little distress ink through a Prima Stencil and I was done...... Very simple, very plan, but I think that it shows the photo, as the main focus on the page...

Scrapbook Fantasies - Copic Challenge - January 2014

So along with everything else that I do, I also copic....... I love the way the colours work and blend together. While I have along way to go before I master being able to copic, this is the card I made for Paula's, green and gold Aussie challenge, at Scrapbook Fantasies. So it's not very Aussie but it's very green and gold.

The paper is some old Basic Grey and the flowers are from my Prima stash.

January Card Sketch

With all the new things going on in my craft life, I have started making cards. Taking part in the monthly swap at card club and doing the monthly card sketch on Alicia's Blog. This is the card for the January sketch. Hope you all like it.

I met Limor Webber

How lucky am I. Back in November, I was lucky enough to do 3 classes with this wonderful teacher, Limor Webber at Scrapbook Fantasies. Oh the Prima that we used. It was so much fun to partake in the Prima World Tour of 2013.

 

 

The best news is that she will be back this year to teach more wonderful things.

Weekly challenge - Green and White

As green is my favorite colour, this challenge should be a breeze.......... But what shade of green, there are too many to choose from. Do I go with sprays and mist or washi tape........ Oh it's so hard but in the end this is what I have come up with....... Hope you like it.

I have used lots of green ribbon from my stash, along with some Prima flowers and some resin flowers I have had put away.

Week 1 Scrapbook Layout

The first challenge for the year was numbers. A layout with numbers or a number in the title. I choose the photo of all the cupcakes I had made for work. You can see this layout if you jump over to Scrapbook Fantasies, you can also see the pages that Mar and Alicia did as well.

Card Club Swap Cards

Here is my card for the January swap. I used the paper 'Holiday' from the Paradiso Collection by Kaisercraft. I love the waves on the paper. The stamp is also by Kaiser.

 

The fish stamps are from a darkroom door set.
